2 2" x 4" x 16' top and bottom rails
120 2" x 2" x 36" balusters
2 2" x 12" step risers with length as needed
1 5/4" x 6" x 8' for each step needed
1 2" x 8" x 16' outside framing
1 4" x 4" x 4' footing
9 manufacturer-recommended 2" x 8" joist hangers
9 manufacturer-recommended framing anchors
24 1/2" x 6" carriage bolt, washer and nut assemblies
8 1/2" x 7" carriage bolt, washer and nut assemblies
32 1/2" lag bolts/carriage bolts for ledger attachment
840 2-1/2" manufacturer-recommended nails
6 lbs. 16d manufacturer-recommended nails
8 sacks concrete mix or as needed
NOTE:
For a free standing deck, one additional beam assembly and additional hand rails are required.
TIP:
An ideal location for your deck would utilize an existing door.
TIP:
Use water repellent or stain with water repellent when your job is finished to help protect your pressure treated wood from splitting, checking or warping.
TIP:
Concrete may be required to secure posts. Check building codes.
